Brush Your Shoulders emote is a smooth and simple dance that was inspired by the second single track of Jay-Z’s The Black Album titled “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” that was released back in 2003. The word “Dirt” in this song was intended to represent the people with negative energies and evil intentions who are hell-bent on bringing you down because your success scares them. This can be likened to your opponents in the Fortnite Battle Royale video game, who are striving for the top spot with you.
