The Birthday Cake is the name of one of the rare back bling cosmetic items for the game Fortnite Battle Royale. Back blings are cosmetic items that are often in the form of bags, capes, and shields. These items do not provide any added function or give any benefit to the players. Back blings are created for aesthetic purposes only. The Birthday Cake is a special back bling that is given to the player after completing some challenges.

The Birthday Cake features a sweet looking 3-layered blue cake topped with white icing that is strapped on the player’s back like a backpack. The cake also features some lit candles and a big “1” candle on top and having one part of it already sliced. This back bling was designed to celebrate Fortnite’s 1st year anniversary.

This rare back bling is not a part of any set nor does it come along with any outfit.

The only way to get this epic back bling is to complete all three of Fortnite’s Birthday Challenges that are available only from July 24th, 2018 to August 7th, 2018. The three challenges that must be completed are:

• Play 14 Matches
• Deal a total of 1,000 damage to enemies
• Dance in front of 10 different Birthday Cakes.

After completing all three challenges, the item will be rewarded to the player.
