Ground Pound is among the many uncommon emotes for the Battle Royale version of the game Fortnite. Although it has an uncommon rarity, this emote is well sought after due to the popularity of the term “superhero landing” that made famous by the Marvel Comics character named Deadpool.

Ground Pound is presented in the form of a short animation where the player’s avatar first jumps up by twisting his/her entire physical posture, and then pounds into the ground with its right fist making a popular superhero pose, i.e. “superhero landing.” The animation ends within a few seconds after the payer uses this emote.

This emote animation is not a part of any set.

The emote animation was first released on January 5th, 2019, and the players can obtain it by purchasing it in the Item Shop during its reappearance in the shop.
